i wouldn’t consider myself as too much of a techie but i definitely like to waste my money on cool gadgets every so often. microsoft has released a new computer and operating system called surface which looks ridiculous.

it is like a big computer slash coffee table that is all touchscreen…kind of like that thing in minority report. i actually played with a dumbed down version of one of these in vegas at the revolution beatles bar in the mirage a couple years ago. when you put your drink down all kinds of hearts and stuff would fly around…very trippy and fun.

the surface computer is a like if an 80′s table top pacman arcade game, an iphone, and a flatscreen tv had a 3way. pure awesome. i am excited to see all of the possibilities that can come from this and hopefully it will not cost a million dollars to get your own.  MSNBC has been using surface during the election coverage and some sheraton hotels have them.
